Cisco has responded to the challenge in the internetworking technology with the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Program. This is a high-level certification program designed to identify and serve the best of the internetworking experts and to improve your hands-on skills. The CCIE certification is currently the most significant certification in the industry.  Service Provider certification indicates expert level knowledge in the fundamentals of IP technologies as well as specialized knowledge in at least one of the networking areas specific to service providers, including Dial, DSL, Cable, Optical, WAN Switching, IP Telephony and Content Networking. A CCIE in Service Provider, IP Telephony is considered a core IP expert with a high degree of VoIP literacy. This contrasts with a CCIE in Voice who is considered a VoIP expert, but not necessarily an expert in the infrastructure over which the VoIP solution is implemented.

 

Course Objectives

This Cisco course is designed specifically to prepare students for passing the CCIE Service Provider Written Exam. The CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert) Service Provider certification validates the skills to keep up with large scale maintenance, troubleshooting implementation and support of applications and ensures you with the skills for building extensible service provider infrastructures that deliver managed services. This course is designed to cover all the topics on the Cisco CCIE Service Provider Written Blueprint.

Prerequisites:

CCIP trained and/or certified.

 

Intended Audience:

CCIE Service Provider candidates who have already obtained their CCIP or have equivalent level-of-knowledge. This boot camp is also beneficial to those CCIE candidates who have attempted the actual CCIE written exam without passing and need to build on their understanding of the fundamental topics.
